- Great location- right next to the beach and near the main strip for food - Good value for money - sun beds provided
The location was absolutely fantastic and the rooms were lovely! Worth paying for the private pool. Also the food at the restaurant was great!
The front desk staff were not overly helpful or friendly.
Beautiful location, some staff members were extremely helpful and exceeded expectations
Some staff members were rude at the restaurant demanding tips and walking while in mid conversation. Matresses were a bit hard and uncomfortable
it is a very nice little hotel on the beach. I would recommend it. Friendly staff, and close to the centre. And the location is just perfect, right on the beach...
beautiful spacious rooms, great access to beach, clean
resturant waiters rude and expect tip and tell you if you dont, they double charged me by not returning my deposit and being very difficult to contact
The location, Na Balam has the best beach of all isla mujeres, it is very nice to have breakfast in their restaurant.
It is very expensive for what it really offers, it is old and has not been renovated since long. Things like ac and shower do not work properly. Pool water was not clean . Rooms do not have tv, hair dryer, iron, mini fridge or any other service you might expect for that price.
I liked how the location which is right at north beach and at the entrance of Avalon hotel. Close to main strip for restuarants/night life.
The beds were very uncomfortable, lots of greenery so as comes mosquito's, I was bit all night as they get into room through window/wall cracks. Internet is not true internet, it is only available in the outside lobby where you again will get chewed up by mosquito's and if your luck enough to get internet service, it is very intermittent.
Very good location right at the best spot of Playa Norte. The staff was very helpful and found us a better room with a kingsize bed upon request the second day. Nice restaurant and beach beds in the front. Nicely build and comfortable hotel probably of the best in Isla Mujeres
The poolside rooms are not so good, not the best value. Ours was like a hut so the roof had some small holes. Not good if you are afraid of little lizards!
great location and very nice room with pool view, an individual terrace and a hammock; very kind and professional receptionist; beds on the beach; very nice and friendly pool cleaner (we really liked the guy)
Beach restaurant staff (rude and unprofessional); Check out issues (higher price than agreed on Booked.net and some receipts from restaurant for a dinner we have never had) - note that the receptionist helped us to figure this issue out and eventually we were not charged for them.
The location of the hotel is nice and the staff are friendly and nice.
The beds were hard as a rock and it is expensive compared to better hotels on Isla Mujeres for what you get. They changed our reservation for the room type twice without notification and had our billing messed up. None of this was a show or a real big deal but I wouldn't return.
The ambiance was very pleasant, a bit rustic, a bit ethnic, not in the least bit kitchy or affected. The location was amazing, one literally stepped out of the room and onto a beautiful sandy beach.
It would have been great to have a small fridge and a coffee machine, two things that most hotels offer and that would have made eating in more viable. I guess eating in is not something the hotel wanted to encourage. They have a restaurant on site, which is in my opinion overpriced and overrated, but nevertheless quite nice.
Stuff was not helpfull, we did not have hot water and blankets.
I loved being right on the beach. The yoga classes were excellent. The feel of a small hotel in paradise was just right for me.
It was a bit of a walk from the main restaurants and there is no dinner at Na Balam.
Excellent location, right on the beach. Very nice staff. Clean and cozy.
There were maintenance works at progress when we were there so it was a bit noisy...
wonderful service and a home from home and elegant and casual at the same time - glorious spot
better to have hot coffee and more of it in the morning more staff in kitchen in the morning regular coffe on tap would be a good idea
